Kathleen Boyd Wins 2017 FPA Diversity Scholarship

Congratulations to Navigoe Financial Navigator, Kathleen Boyd for winning the Financial Planning Association Diversity Scholarship to for the 2017 FPA Annual Conference.

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is the largest membership organization of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professionals. The Diversity Scholarship is a merit based scholarship program that is awarded to a financial planning professional who demonstrates and acts upon an intense desire to promote diversity in the financial planning profession.

Kathleen was recognized for her achievements and volunteer efforts, most notably founding and organizing the first ever Financial Planning Day in Long Beach, a day long event where financial planners offer financial education and on-on-one pro-bono financial advice to members of the local community
